What You’ll Learn

Understand the Deep Challenges in Western Evangelicalism

A clear, honest look at why so many churches struggle with burnout, scandal, and unhealthy leadership patterns.
You’ll learn how certain leadership models — often assumed to be “biblical” — have actually drifted from God’s design and contributed to the crisis we see today.

Discover God's Blueprint for Long Term Healthy Pastors and Churches

A fresh and life-giving vision for leadership rooted in Scripture — one built on plurality, mutual support, and Spirit-led stewardship rather than control or celebrity.
You’ll explore the key roles and archetypes found in the Exodus story and the early church, and how they work together to create sustainable, holy leadership.

How to Build a Courageous, Accountable, and Spirit-Formed Community

A practical and prophetic call to cultivate systems of integrity, accountability, and courage in your church or ministry.
You’ll learn how to resist complicity, embrace truth-telling, restore trust, and form teams where the love of God drives the culture instead of fear or image.

Understand the risks of mutual culpability

A in depth discussion that helps church leaders understand that when harm occurs, responsibility is rarely isolated to one individual but is often shared across the systems, cultures, and people who enable or ignore it. It reframes accountability as a collective and formative practice, equipping teams to address mutual culpability with clarity, courage, and integrity.

Meet Your Instructor

Tara Korpi

Tara Korpi is a trusted guide to pastors and church leaders, bringing a rare blend of theological depth, practical leadership experience, and systems-level clarity. A doctoral researcher studying theo-semiotics under Leonard Sweet, she helps ministries discern the signs shaping their moment and translate those insights into healthy, accountable, spiritually formative leadership structures.

As a faculty member at Ascent College, Tara equips ministers and missionaries for resilient, Spirit-led leadership. Drawing on years of pastoral experience—as a church planter, executive pastor, and pastor at a multi-campus church—she now comes alongside churches, seminaries, and networks to strengthen teams, rebuild systems, and cultivate thriving, integrity-driven communities.

Through the Anchor Forward Project, Tara partners with leaders who want to shepherd well, navigate complexity with wisdom, and shape a faithful future for the Church.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No.
    It is for:

    • churches that are healthy and want to stay healthy,

    • churches that feel stuck or imbalanced,

    • churches recovering from wounds,

    • networks and denominations seeking prevention, not just intervention.

    • church planters who want to build a healthy church from the start.

You don’t have to be in a crisis to benefit. In fact, the strongest leaders are the ones who invest in accountability, mutuality, and healthy ecosystems before something breaks.

  • It is intentionally both.
    Each session blends:

    • biblical and theological foundations,

    • historical understanding of how we got here,

    • practical tools,

    • actionable “I” and “We” assignments,

    • templates for assessment,

    • guidance for team conversations,

    • and next steps for implementation.

You will leave with a clear theological vision and concrete practices your team can put into action immediately.

  • No.
The content is grounded in Scripture, informed by church history, and applicable across traditions — high church, low church, congregational, elder-led, pastor-led, or network-based.
The goal is not to push a structure, but to help any structure become more biblical, accountable, and relationally healthy by rediscovering God’s design for mutuality and stewardship.

  • Both options are available. Your team can move through the curriculum at your own pace using the built-in facilitator’s guides, or you can invite Tara to walk with you through the process. While the material is designed to be accessible and self-guided, many teams find that having an experienced guide brings deeper clarity, stronger conversations, and more meaningful transformation.
